Hi everyone,
Here's your chance to sign up for the complimentary Solo Aging Peer Group Webinar in May.
There’s a quiet assumption many independent adults carry:
“I’ve handled everything so far. I’ll figure things out if something happens.”
But here’s the reality I see again and again—Independence without structure is fragile.
It doesn’t collapse all at once. It erodes quietly:
- A health event without an advocate
- A financial issue no one can access
- A decision delayed because no one is authorized
And when those moments converge, even the most capable person can find themselves relying on systems—not people who know them.
That’s why I’ve redesigned my Aging Solo Peer Group into something far more focused and practical.
Introducing: The Quick Start Peer Group
A 6–8 Week Structure-Building Experience for Independent Adults
This is not a traditional support group. It is not a long, overwhelming program.
It is a guided, small-group process to help you build the personal structure your independence depends on.
What Makes This Different
Instead of covering everything…
We focus on what matters most:
Your Top 1–2 Risks
In our first session, you will identify where your independence is most vulnerable:
- Who can step in if something happens?
- Can someone access your finances?
- Are your legal documents usable—not just completed?
- Would your home support you during a health change?
From there, everything becomes practical.
What You’ll Build in 6-8 Weeks
With a small group (6–8 members) and direct guidance, you will:
- Identify who can support you—and ask them
- Clarify where to go for professional help
- Learn how to put simple systems in place quickly
- Take real steps to reduce your biggest risks
Each week is focused on action, not theory.
You won’t leave with ideas.
You’ll leave with structure.
Why This Matters
Because in a moment of crisis, three things must work together:
- Your support network
- Your legal authority
- Your financial access
If even one is missing, decisions default to systems—not your preferences.
This group helps you close those gaps—before you need them.
The Power of a Small Group
You won’t do this alone.
Inside the group, you’ll have:
- Accountability to take action each week
- Shared insight from others facing similar realities
- A safe space to ask questions and make decisions
- Direct guidance from me to help you move forward
What Happens After the Group
This is where it becomes powerful.
At the end of the program, you will:
- Continue with a few members for ongoing support
- Or create your own local peer group with friends
- Or move into a more advanced planning phase
The goal is simple:
You walk away with a structure that continues—without depending on me.
A Final Thought
Most people wait until something happens to figure this out.
This group is for those who want something different:
Clarity. Confidence. Control.
Before a crisis forces decisions.
